Preventive Dentistry

An advantage of practicing dentistry for 30 years, is that I have had the opportunity to see what works and what doesn't. What I have found is that no matter how well a dental procedure is done, it will not last to it's full potential unless it is taken care of correctly. The biggest factor is proper home care. Everyone slips up occasionally and conditions can change, so the second most important factor is regular check-ups. If something does "go wrong" it's much easier and cheaper to take care of when it's discovered early.
