Erin Greene Mezzo Soprano

ERIN GREENE, mezzo-soprano, has appeared with Rising Star Singers, the Austrian-American Mozart Academy, and Oberlin in Italy. Her recent performances include the role of Isabella in Catan’s Rappaccini’s Daughter, La Voce in Resphigi’s Lucrezia, and scenes as Dulcinee from Massenet’s Don Quichotte and Meg in Adamo’s Little Women with the College-Conservatory of Music. In addition she has performed the roles of Berta in Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, the Mother and Grandmother in Barab’s Little Red Riding Hood, Cherubino in Davies’ The Three Little Pigs with Rising Star Singers. At the University of Texas she performed the role of Sister Mathilde in Poulenc’s The Dialogues of the Carmelites, Miss Todd in Menotti’s The Old Maid and the Thief, Erika in Barber’s Vanessa as well as Dorabella in Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte and Gomatz in Mozart’s Zaide with the Austrian American Mozart Academy of Salzburg. Miss Greene is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and received her Master’s degree from the College-Conservatory of Music.
